    Many thanks Mark,
I’ve been watching as you have progressed with this website and I’m delighted to see it arrive.
It is a quite stunning resource for all those interested in photogravure – a process that has been largely overlooked but gradually we will make sure that the beauty of these photographs is better studied.
Good luck with the website you’ve done a fantastic job,
    Alan

  2. David Spencer says:

Mark: You have created a most important resource-both for the sheer beauty of viewing these photographic images reproduced in photogravure & the ongoing scholarship it will provide us all. The Spencer Photographic Archive, with its’ depth comprising examples of early photogravure, is looking forward to assisting in these efforts.
    David Spencer
