The Old Order and The New: P.H. Emerson and Photography (1885 - 1895)
Bradford, West Yorkshire
A major exhibition showcasing the work of photographer Peter Henry Emerson, with photographs and ephemera drawn largely from the NMPFT and RPS Collections. Guest curator John Taylor and the Museum's curator Philippa Wright reassess the importance and context of Emerson's work, which combined new techniques and technology in a bid to record and preserve the traditional life of East Anglia. A book will accompany the exhibition.
